The utility contractor (Humir) will continue with utility work for the resurfacing streets on the west side of the Village (including Lizette Lane, Brett Lane, and the Meadowview subdivision streets) next week. The concrete contractor (Suburban) is scheduled to begin curb and gutter and sidewalk replacement next week, starting on Potter Road, Brett, and Lizette Lanes.

Arrow Road Construction has completed a majority of the Minor Area Repair Strategy (MARS) program on the east side and central portion of the Village this week. Arrow has resumed with the Minor Area Repair Strategy (MARS) program on the central and western portion of the Village this week. The rainy weather has hampered placing the asphalt, but the paving process is underway again and all unpaved areas are being closed up as quickly as possible. The MARS Program is a program in which only isolated pavement repairs are made (repairing the most severely deteriorated pavement) to a street to extend the life of that street until more extensive repairs such complete resurfacing or reconstruction can be completed.
